Hello there,
I am Benjamin Roberts, a 21 year old screenwriter based in Bromley, South London. I have recently graduated university with a degree in Film Production and have begun a career as a freelance screenwriter.

I dominantly write comedy screenplays as I find there’s something simply thrilling about being able to make someone laugh. I write with a unique and original comedy voice, aiming to create something that hasn’t been done before and enhance traditional comedic structures and formulas.

Having family from both England and Jamaica has given me different perspectives on life and people as the two different cultures are very influential to me and my work.
I have been strongly impacted by my family and the close sense nurture in our lives. This is something that I always try to portray in my work; the strong bonds between my characters and their relationships.
Formed in 2018 Dynamig is the collaboration of myself and longtime friend Jessica Brain. As Dynamig we've worked together on a multitude of short films ranging from lighthearted comedies to meaningful dramas.

Dynamig is somewhat of a passion project as it allows me to bring my writing to the screen whilst working with someone very talented at directing the content.
